The Oakland Latino Business Association & Committee is not a think tank.
We’re a political force built to protect Latinos, women, and other marginalized business communities from exclusion, corruption, and economic injustice.

We demand fairness in public policy, fight back against discriminatory decision-makers, and mobilize voters, businesses, and neighborhoods to shift power in Oakland where it belongs: with the people who’ve been ignored for too long.

  • Mission

To educate and mobilize the Latino community and our allies for civic, economic, and legal justice in Oakland.

  • Vision

A city government that no longer turns a blind eye to injustice, discrimination, or corruption—and instead prioritizes equity for all.

CAMPAIGNS & POLITICAL ACTION

We Elect Friends of Fairness. We Recall Enemies of Equality.

We track votes.
We publish the truth.
And we make the political cost of discrimination too high for any official to ignore.

Our Focus:
• Lobbying Councilmembers and City leadership to change policies and redirect resources.
• Filing formal complaints and public demands to dismiss officials who obstruct equity.
• Organizing targeted pressure campaigns to expose harmful decisions and discriminatory behavior.
• Building public momentum for recall efforts when leaders fail to serve with justice and integrity.

If you support equity, transparency, and opportunity—you want us on your side.
If you work against those values—we’ll be in your district, your inbox, and on your doorstep.

We’re not here to “get along.”
We’re here to get results.
